Seven Hills

Our Seven Hills project is a contemporary large family home that has been extended up and out from an existing single storey dwelling. The brief was simple, a cohesive design that is a pleasure to live in across all four seasons, and a space you won’t want to leave.

A key challenge was achieving a seamless and cohesive treatment of design and materials between the existing home and the new first floor and ground floor extensions. With the knowledge, experience, and design support of the Debono Construction team the home looks and feels like it was built as one.

The large open plan living, dining, and kitchen area is skilfully and practically defined by a low wall and feature brick fireplace to enjoy on those cool winter evenings. The bespoke kitchen with contrasting two-tone cabinets and brass fittings looks over a new outdoor living and dining area. Complete with its high-spec outdoor kitchen, this decked area is tailored to summer living with an enviable indoor-outdoor connection to the backyard and pool area beyond.

Beautiful natural timbers and specialist carpentry are on show throughout the home. The rich colours of the polished Spotted Gum ground floor seamlessly transition to the matching undercover outdoor deck. A custom-built Victorian Ash staircase anchors and adds to the main living space like an architectural piece of solid timber furniture.

A large family bathroom, generous double shower ensuite, and practical laundry space demonstrates the balance between beauty and practicality needed for a comfortable day-to-day existence.
